Job summary

EAB is seeking an Associate Director for Research Advisory Services to lead advisory programs for higher education clients, delivering data-driven insights and high-impact presentations for senior leaders.

You will work with boards, presidents, and chiefs to shape strategy, provide expert guidance, and drive organizational results through practice-based workshops and content delivery. This role combines in-person and virtual work with travel and a strong emphasis on client impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years post-graduate experience, or 4+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience working with client executives, either at a college, university, district, or school or as a consultant or advisor.
• Superior verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to create a compelling narrative through data visualization, graphics, and slides.
• Strong relationship-building and collaboration skills; ability to engage and challenge senior-level executives.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain terrain expertise across research areas for university leaders.
• Deliver advice through phone consultations, virtual meetings, conferences, and on-site presentations.
• Engage with advancement and cabinet leaders to guide strategic progress.
• Collaborate with research customer success to deliver scalable partner delivery.
• Support sales in new partner development.
