Job summary

EAB is seeking an Associate Director, Research Advisory Services to partner with university executives, boards, and senior leaders. The role emphasizes market insights, strategy development, and delivering high-impact advisory services across educational institutions.

The position involves travel and substantial market engagement, with remote options across the continental United States. Expected to combine research expertise with client-facing consulting to advance EAB's strategic objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with excellent academic record or 4+ years with advanced degree
• Experience with client executives at colleges, universities, districts, or schools or as a consultant
• Superior verbal, written, facilitation and presentation skills
• Ability to create a compelling narrative through data visualization, graphics, and slides
• Excellent relationship building and collaboration skills; ability to engage and challenge senior-level executives

Responsibilities

• Terrain mastery: build and maintain issue expertise across research terrains relevant to university leadership.
• Deliver insights through phone consultations, virtual meetings, conferences, and on-campus presentations.
• Collaborate with research customers to execute scalable partner delivery and support sales in new development.
• Generate original insights and content in assigned areas for blogs, briefings and reports.
