Job summary

EAB is seeking a Director, Research Advisory Services to lead strategic advisory work for higher education and K-12 institutions. The role partners with boards and senior leaders to advance financial sustainability and fundraising, delivering insights, strategy, and evidence-based recommendations.

The position involves substantial market travel and in-person/virtual engagements, with a focus on transforming institutions through data-driven, outcome-focused guidance and collaboratives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 6–8+ years post‑grad experience.
• Experience engaging with client executives at colleges or universities.
• Superior verbal, written, facilitation, and presentation skills.
• Ability to craft a compelling narrative through data visualization and slides.
• Excellent relationship-building and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain expert terrain knowledge; shape strategic guidance for members and leaders.
• Deliver advisory support through consultations, workshops, and on-campus or virtual presentations.
• Lead partnerships and client development, aligning priorities and ensuring impact across programs.
