Ideal candidates are licensed to practice in Illinois, with at least 1 year of law firm experience, strong organization, and excellent written and oral communication.

Qualifications

• Must be admitted to practice law in Illinois.
• At least 1 year of relevant law firm experience.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines.
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
• Highest ethical standards and professional integrity.
• Strong interpersonal skills across all levels of the organization.
• Legal research skills; LexisNexis proficiency is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining and supervising a heavy, diversified caseload in Illinois.
• Communicating with clients regarding their matters.
• Drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda; reviewing and drafting agreements.
• Communicating with opposing parties to resolve/settle claims.
• Conducting legal research on contract law and consumer law issues.
• Occasional travel for in-court appearances; role is remote from home.
