Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to support a dynamic development team focused on new resort projects and renovations. This remote Hawaii-based role requires coordinating with design, engineering, procurement, legal, IT, operations, and numerous consultants to ensure timely, on-budget delivery.

You will assist with planning, budgeting, and turnover, while supporting RFIs, submittals, and change orders. Travel up to 20-30% to project sites, primarily in Hawaii.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
• 2-5 years of field/administrative/management or design/architect/engineering experience.
• Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
• Computer proficiency with AutoCAD and Bluebeam preferred.
• Hospitality, financial, and commercial construction experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing, supervising, coordinating and monitoring the planning, design, construction and turnover of development projects.
• Review and upload project budget data and distribute to the project team.
• Generate Requests for Proposals, perform bid comparisons and maintain project status sheets.
• Prepare contract requests including change orders or amendments for consultants/vendors; prepare Project Management Agreements and amendments for Board approval.
• Receive and review RFIs, Submittals, Pay Applications and Invoices for Manager approvals.
• Assist in developing scope, schedule and budget from inception through turnover and report regularly.
• Assist in scheduling site walks and participate in punch list and turnover activities.
• Perform other duties to support the Project Manager.
