Job summary

Travel + Leisure Co. is seeking a Project Manager, Resort Renovation to lead renovations across brands, with focus on Hawaii-based resorts.

The role involves defining scopes, budgets, schedules, risk management, and ensuring brand compliance. 35% travel will be required to site locations, often in Hawaii. A degree in Engineering/Architecture/Construction Management and 5-7+ years of hospitality construction experience are required.

Qualifications

• Engineering, Architectural or Construction Management degree.
• 5-7+ years of related construction experience in the Hospitality Industry.
• Experience building and renovating in the Hotel, Timeshare or Multi-Family Resort Fields is preferred.
• Knowledge in all aspects of construction and renovation, including; architectural, electrical, mechanical, plumbing and structural design.
• Prior experience with Primavera, Expedition or similar construction scheduling, estimating or management software preferred.
• CADD skills a plus.
• PMP and/or LEED certification/experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, budget, and timeline; secure permits and verify specs and quantities.
• Inspect work in progress for design compliance and constructability.
• Manage bid development and approvals for consultants, vendors and contractors.
• Review and approve PM agreements, contracts, pay applications, change orders, and track logs.
• Track status and communicate milestones to stakeholders.
• Manage close-out and turnover to resort operations through warranty period.
