Job summary

National Power, LLC is seeking an Assistant Program Manager to oversee all aspects of service for an exterior telecom plant (OSP) within a remote-enabled role. You will report to the Director of Managed Services and manage subcontractors and internal staff to meet contract obligations with a focus on customer satisfaction and teamwork.

The ideal candidate has experience managing large telecom service contracts, strong organizational skills, and the ability to adapt to a changing environment

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college preferred.
• Superior organizational skills and experience managing teams of service providers (self-perform or subcontractors).
• Excellent customer service skills, including verbal and written communication, phone and email etiquette.
• Ability to adapt in a changing work environment.
• Advanced knowledge of English.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, especially Excel.
• Adept at using remote web applications and web services.
• Proven team player.

Responsibilities

• Oversee subcontractors and internal technicians for the preventive maintenance contract across geographic territory.
• Track open PM tickets and communicate status to customer.
• Coordinate repairs with Program Manager to restore service and schedule these repairs.
• Review/approve invoices from subcontractors for preventive maintenance services.
• Maintain knowledge of customer ticketing system and MOP process.
• Maintain preventative maintenance reports for customer review and access.
• Provide weekly financial updates to customers for invoicing.
