Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking an Assistant General Counsel for Archimedes to lead a legal team providing day-to-day support. You will counsel on contracts, regulatory matters, and IP, while collaborating with Navitus and Lumicera teams to ensure compliance and ethical practices.

The role emphasizes drafting and negotiating complex agreements, managing licensing, and guiding new initiatives from a legal perspective to align with the organization's mission.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Juris Doctorate, LLM, or equivalent degree from an ABA accredited Law school required.
• License to practice law in at least one US state required; Wisconsin preferred.
• 6+ years of experience working in legal.
• Direct experience within Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or health insurance industry required.
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support for Archimedes by managing a team of attorneys and paralegals.
• Offer analysis and counsel on contracts, statutes/regulations, products, employment law, IP, financial offerings, and real estate transactions.
• Collaborate with Lumicera and Navitus teams to ensure compliance and ethical business practices.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts; maintain and update contract templates; manage vendor, client, and employment contracts.
• Oversee licensing and regulatory requirements for Archimedes.
• Guide Archimedes initiatives from a legal perspective to shape organizational direction.
• Review and approve policies and procedures related to Archimedes legal needs.
• Research statutes, judicial decisions, and contracts; stay current with laws and regulations.
