Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions seeks an Assistant General Counsel for Archimedes to lead a legal team and provide day-to-day support on contracts, regulatory matters, and strategic initiatives.

The role requires a JD/LLM, US-state licensure, and 6+ years in a legal function, with PBM/health insurance experience and strong MS Office skills. Remote work option available with Navitus’ compliance-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate, LLM, or equivalent degree from ABA-accredited law school required.
• License to practice law in at least one US state required; Wisconsin license preferred.
• 6+ years of experience in a legal role.
• Direct experience within Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or health insurance industry required.
• Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
• Participate in and support compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of attorneys and paralegals delivering day-to-day legal support for Archimedes.
• Provide analysis and counsel on contracts, regulatory issues, employment law, IP, and real estate.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts; maintain and update templates.
• Oversee licensing and regulatory requirements for Archimedes.
• Advise on legal aspects of new initiatives and IT systems.
• Develop and review Archimedes policies and procedures.
• Research statutes, cases, and legal articles as needed.
• Maintain knowledge of applicable laws to ensure ethical and professional compliance.
• Collaborate with Lumicera and Navitus teams to ensure compliance with laws and Navitus’ values.
• Other duties as assigned.
