Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking an Assistant General Counsel for Archimedes to lead the legal team in providing day-to-day legal support, ensuring regulatory compliance, and guiding strategic initiatives related to contracts and IT systems.

The role requires a JD (LLM preferred), active US-state license, and 6+ years of legal experience in PBM or health insurance. You will collaborate with Navitus and Archimedes teams on complex matters and policy development.

Qualifications

Juris Doctorate or equivalent from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active bar license in at least one US state (Wisconsin preferred).
6+ years of legal experience, preferably in PBM or health insurance.
Experience with contracts, IT systems, regulatory compliance, and privacy considerations.

Responsibilities

Lead a team of attorneys and paralegals in providing day-to-day legal support for Archimedes and Navitus.
Provide analysis and counsel on contracts, statutes, regulations, employment law, IP, and financial transactions.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts; maintain and update templates.
Oversee licensing and regulatory compliance activities for Archimedes.
Advise on legal issues shaping organizational strategy and IT systems.
Develop and refine legal policies and procedures; stay aware of state, federal, and local laws.
