Job summary

Navitus is seeking an Assistant General Counsel for Archimedes in Washington, DC. The role reports to the Chief Legal Officer and leads a team of attorneys and paralegals to provide day-to-day legal support for Archimedes and align with Navitus’ mission.

You will counsel on contracts, regulatory issues, products, employment, IP, and real estate; draft and negotiate agreements; oversee licensing; and help shape strategic initiatives from a legal perspective while ensuring compliance across

Qualifications

• Juris Doctorate or LLM from an ABA-accredited law school.
• License to practice law in at least one US state (Wisconsin preferred).
• 6+ years of legal experience.
• Direct experience in Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or health insurance.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
• Adherence to compliance program objectives.
• Ability to interact cooperatively with others.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support for Archimedes and manage a team of attorneys and paralegals.
• Counsel on contracts, statutes and regulations, products, employment law, IP, finance, and real estate.
• Collaborate with Lumicera and Navitus teams to ensure legal and ethical compliance.
• Draft, review and negotiate contracts; update templates to meet changing needs.
• Oversee licensing and regulatory requirements for Archimedes.
• Keep management informed on legal issues affecting organizational direction.
