Job summary

Navitus Health Solutions is seeking an Assistant General Counsel to support Archimedes. Report to the Chief Legal Officer, manage a team of attorneys and paralegals, and provide day-to-day legal support for Archimedes.

You will draft, review, and negotiate contracts, ensure regulatory compliance, advise on statutes, regulations, products, employment law, IP, and real estate and strategic planning, and collaborate with Lumicera and Navitus teams.

Qualifications

• Completion of a Juris Doctorate, LLM, or equivalent from an ABA-accredited law school.
• License to practice law in at least one US state required; Wisconsin license preferred.
• 6+ years of experience working in legal required.
• Direct experience within Pharmacy Benefit Management (PBM) or health insurance industry required.
• Experience using software programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Teams.
• Participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives.
• The ability to consistently interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day legal support for Archimedes and manage a team of attorneys and paralegals.
• Provide analysis and counsel on contracts, statutes, regulations, products, employment law, IP, and financial offerings.
• Work with Lumicera and Navitus teams to ensure compliance with law, ethics, and Navitus’ mission.
• Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and maintain templates to meet changing business needs.
• Manage licensing and regulatory requirements for Archimedes.
• Inform development of Archimedes initiatives from a legal perspective.
• Update, review and approve policies and procedures related to Archimedes legal needs.
• Research statutes, decisions, and contracts as needed.
