Job summary

Kiavi seeks an Asset Resolution Specialist for its Special Servicing Team. You will be the primary contact for customers needing workout assistance on loans and will use negotiation and customer service skills to bring loans current or avoid default.

You will assess loss mitigation options, coordinate with investors, and document decisions in our systems while supporting new ideas and process improvements. Remote work is available within approved regions.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years mortgage experience.
• Exemplary communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to guide customers and investors through retention/liquidation processes.
• General knowledge about the loss mitigation process.
• Self-starter with ability to manage a pipeline independently.

Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of loans in default and apply loss mitigation strategies.
• Analyze workout options based on financial impact for delinquent loans (foreclosure, short sale, reinstatement, deed in lieu).
• Negotiate loss mitigation strategies with investors.
• Set clear expectations with borrowers and involved parties.
• Coordinate with internal departments and business partners.
• Ensure updates and decisions are tracked in systems.
• Generate ideas for improvements and support implementation of new ideas.
• Produce periodic and ad-hoc reporting.
