Job summary

World Business Lenders seeks an executive to lead its Asset Resolution function, directing nationwide default litigation and recovery strategies for distressed commercial loans secured by real estate.

You will oversee a team of counsel and outside firms, shaping strategy, budgets, and performance metrics while partnering with senior leadership to maximize recoveries across a high-volume portfolio. This fully remote role offers leadership scope and travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school and maintain an active license to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
• Experience leading a national or multi-state foreclosure/default litigation function is preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to oversee high-volume litigation portfolios and manage outside counsel budgets.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and legal oversight for the Asset Resolution Department across nationwide default litigation and recovery strategies.
• Oversee Asset Resolution counsel and outside counsel relationships; monitor performance, budgets, and litigation strategy.
• Develop portfolio analytics and risk assessments to maximize recoveries on distressed commercial real estate loans.
