Job summary

Kiavi is seeking an Asset Resolution Specialist (ARS) on the Special Servicing Team to be the main contact for customers requiring workout assistance after loan approval. You will use negotiation and customer service skills to guide borrowers through workout plans to bring loans current or avoid default, and explain investor guidelines clearly.

You will analyze options, coordinate with investors, set clear expectations, track activity in systems, and contribute ideas to improve loss mitigation

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of mortgage experience.
• Exemplary communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Ability to guide customers and investors through retention/liquidation.
• General knowledge about the loss mitigation process.
• Self-starter with the ability to independently work a pipeline effectively.

Responsibilities

• Manages a portfolio of loans in default and implements loss mitigation strategies.
• Reviews and validates documents; answers technical foreclosure questions from borrowers.
• Analyzes work-out options based on financial impact for delinquent loans.
• Negotiates loss mitigation strategies with investors.
• Sets clear expectations with borrowers about loan status and possible outcomes.
• Manages relationships with internal departments and business partners.
• Ensures updates and decisions are tracked in systems.
• Generates ideas for improvement and supports new initiatives.
• Responsible for periodic and ad-hoc reporting.
