Job summary

Georgia-Pacific is seeking a motivated Remote Asset Engineering Lead for the Corrugated Products division. The role uses data analytics and process expertise to identify equipment and process issues before they impact production, providing facilities with early warning, diagnostic insights, and recovery guidance.

You will collaborate with Corrugated leadership to define support strategies and may supervise remote engineers as needs evolve.

Qualifications

Bachelor-level engineering degree required.
3+ years in or supporting manufacturing teams.
Experience presenting complex information to diverse audiences.
Experience using industrial data platforms like Power BI or OSIsoft PI.
Willing to travel up to 25% to operating facilities.

Responsibilities

Review assets and processes daily to identify deviations and potential failures; diagnose issues and communicate findings to site personnel.
Identify optimization opportunities and engage SMEs on value and path forward.
Collaborate with CSC teammates and partners to solve complex operational challenges.
Identify opportunities to leverage AI and advanced analytics to automate detection of issues and generate insights.
