Job summary

ZP Connect is seeking qualified interpreters to provide high quality American Sign Language interpreting via video, supporting telecommunication services for consumers. The role requires fluent ASL and spoken English, with a focus on accurate interpretation and professional conduct.

Training will be provided, and on-site interpreting is offered based on business needs. Interpreters will participate in ongoing professional development, adhere to FCC rules, and maintain excellent customer service

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Able to provide accurate interpretation.
• Good understanding of Deaf culture.
• Adhere to NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Must be 18 years or older to apply.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service and video remote interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company's mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service while maintaining a respectful and professional attitude with customers and colleagues.
