Job summary

ZP Connect is seeking qualified interpreters to deliver high-quality ASL-English interpretation via video relay, video remote interpreting, and on-site services across various locations. Fluency in ASL and spoken English is required, with strong interpreting accuracy and knowledge of Deaf culture.

Applicants must pass the skills assessment, complete a 40-hour new hire training, and be able to travel as needed. The role offers flexible scheduling and telehealth-related benefits.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English required.
• Accurate interpretation skills.
• Understanding of Deaf culture.
• Knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.
• Age 18 or older; state licensure where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company’s mission and values.
• Provide excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
• Be punctual and prepared for shifts; interact with colleagues professionally.
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies.
• Adapt to new technologies and multi-task during interpreting.
• Travel as needed; access to a vehicle and valid driver’s license.
