Job summary

ZP Connect is seeking a professional interpreter to provide high-quality American Sign Language interpreting via video in a call center. You must be fluent in ASL and English, with accurate interpreting skills and strong knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Emphasis on professionalism, customer service, and adapting to new technologies. Essential duties include VRS/VRI for consumers, supporting the company's mission, and maintaining timely and accurate records.

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English.
• Accurate interpretation skills.
• Knowledge of NAD-RID Code of Professional Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Provide effective video relay service and video remote interpreting for consumers.
• Support and model the company's mission and values.
• Deliver excellent customer service with a professional attitude.
• Maintain punctuality and preparedness for shifts, and collaborate with colleagues.
• Adhere to FCC regulations and company policies.
• Adapt quickly to new technologies and multitask between interpreting and video.
• Participate in company-sponsored training for professional development.
• Onsite interpreting may be offered as needed; driving and insurance may be required.
