Job summary

ZP Connect is seeking a part-time American Sign Language interpreter to deliver high-quality video relay and on-site interpreting services. The role supports the deaf and hard-of-hearing community across call center and client sites, with opportunities for telehealth, flexible scheduling, and professional development.

Under the supervision of the Communication Center Manager, you will interpret fluent ASL and spoken English, meet NAD-RID standards, complete required training, and travel as

Qualifications

• Fluent ASL and spoken English are required.
• Understanding of Deaf culture and NAD-RID Code of Conduct.
• Experience in interpreting preferred (3–5 years).
• State licensure or credentials may apply for certain locations.

Responsibilities

• Provide high quality video relay service, video remote interpreting, and on-site interpreting.
• Deliver excellent customer service with professionalism and respect.
• Maintain punctuality and preparedness for shifts; accurate record keeping.
