Job summary

Western Funding Inc. in Springfield, MO, and remotely, seeks an Area Sales Manager to grow funded deals with independent and franchise dealers.

You will cover your regional territory, traveling up to 75%, and represent the company to dealers to drive financing for more customers. The role requires consultative sales, building strong dealer relationships, onboarding new partners, and training dealers on documentation for fast funding.

Qualifications

• Must have working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• College degree or equivalent work experience (preferred).
• Strong knowledge of Automotive, Finance and Sales.
• Experience in Financial Services or car dealership.
• 1-2 years in a challenging sales role with a proven track record.
• Clear and effective presentation skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Knowledge of warm calling, appointment setting, and sales techniques.
• Strong computer skills and adaptability to new technology.
• Results orientation; able to work independently and in a team.
• Willing to travel up to 75%.

Responsibilities

• Present and communicate company products and services to all levels of management within Independent and Franchise Dealerships in person.
• Identify sales prospects and contact these and other accounts assigned to you.
• Follow-up on new leads and referrals resulting from telephone calls for Independent and Franchise dealers.
• Develop, maintain and grow current and potential dealer partners within the Independent and Franchise Dealer communities.
• Maintain constant communication with dealer partners on current programs.
• Train dealers in Western Funding including proper documentation needed for fast funding of contracts.
