Job summary

bp is seeking an Area Sales Manager to drive Castrol Passenger Car Oil (PCO) business across the MI, OH, IN, and Western PA regions through distributor networks and direct accounts.

The ASM will visit customers four days a week, manage Salesforce-based pipeline, and leverage PowerBI for territory analytics while training distributors and onboarding key accounts. Remote role with up to 75% travel.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 80% travel is required (50-60% overnight).
• Experience with Salesforce and digital sales platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maximize profitable growth of Castrol brands with premium products.
• Visit customers and prospects four days per week.
• Support Distributor Sales Representatives with tools and training.
• Prospect, develop pipeline in Salesforce; close opportunities.
• Maintain robust pipeline for direct and indirect prospects.
• Leverage PowerBI to manage territory and accounts.
• Train Distributors on prospecting and closing using Castrol programs.
• Support onboarding of OEM, Walmart ACC and Key Accounts.
• Use Salesforce with PowerBI and Turfview.
• Comply with bp Code of Conduct and HSSE standards.
