Job summary

ALSAC seeks an Advisor - Area Development to drive revenue and expand volunteer and donor engagement in the Pittsburgh area, with remote work options. You will recruit partners, plan events, and lead fundraising initiatives while building strong community relationships.

The role requires frontline fundraising expertise, outstanding communication, and the ability to travel within the territory to cultivate sponsors and donors.

Qualifications

• Five years of fundraising, development, or sales experience.
• Ability to relate to donors and volunteers from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong communication, organizational, and public speaking skills.

Responsibilities

• Establish and activate high-profile national fundraising initiatives in the area.
• Attain and exceed financial and stewardship goals.
• Build relationships with volunteers and donors through face-to-face interactions.
• Provide support and resources for fundraising initiatives across channels.
• Develop marketing and recruitment plans for events and manage media partnerships.
• Grow high-value revenue events ($250,000+) with assigned growth targets.
• Prepare written correspondence and maintain records of contacts and revenues.
• Represent St. Jude publicly, engaging with media, sponsors, volunteers, and donors.
• Collaborate with internal teams to identify and solicit major donors.
