Job summary

Worley seeks a Journeyman Pipefitter for the Deadhorse/CMC Fab Shop assignment at Prudhoe Bay, AK. This remote/rotational role runs three weeks on/three weeks off or two on/two off, with an 84-hour week. Meals, lodging, and Anchorage-Prudhoe transport are provided.

You will lay out, fabricate, install and support piping systems, read drawings, select pipes and fittings, and ensure safe, compliant installation in a remote Arctic environment.

Qualifications

• Three to five (3-5) years’ experience in pipefitting in an industrial environment is required.
• High school diploma or equivalent GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured by Worley auto insurer are required.
• NSTC certification training is available through Worley if needed.

Responsibilities

• Select type and size of pipe and related materials per drawings and specs.
• Inspect worksites and plan installation to avoid obstructions.
• Cut and bevel pipe using cutting torches, saws and threading machines.
• Assemble and install valves and fittings; prepare pipe for welding or join by threading.
• Secure pipe to structures and fit pipe for hydrotesting as needed.
