Job summary

Worley is seeking a Project Pipefitter Helper/Roustabout on a remote, rotational project in Alaska. The role runs ~84 hours weekly for about one year, with meals and lodging provided on location and transport between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay.

Start expected Oct/Nov 2026. Responsibilities include assisting journeymen in setup and welding-related tasks, with emphasis on layout, preparation, equipment operation and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• NSTC certification training may be provided.
• Alaska secondary trade school may be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align and secure parts per blueprints.
• Prepare surfaces for welding and set up equipment.
• Operate welding machines and adjust settings; inspect materials.
• Cut, contour and bevel metal plates and shapes as specified.
• Maintain markings and records; perform housekeeping.
• Utilize hand and power tools common to welding.
