Job summary

Worley is seeking a Journeyman Pipefitter for a remote rotational assignment in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The position typically follows a 3 weeks on/3 weeks off (or 2 on/2 off) schedule, averaging about 84 hours per week with meals and lodging provided on location.

Transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is supplied, and Worley offers a competitive benefits package including short-term disability, life insurance, sick leave, and a 4.5% 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of pipefitting experience in an industrial environment.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.
• Worley can provide NSTC certification training if needed.

Responsibilities

• Select type and size of pipe and related materials according to drawings and job specifications.
• Inspect worksites to determine presence of obstructions and plan installation to avoid obstructions and conflicts with other crafts.
• Cut and bevel pipe using cutting torches, saws, threading machines and pipe cutting machine.
• Assemble and install a variety of valves and fittings.
• Prepare and fit pipe for welding by a certified pipe welder or join pipe and fittings by threading.
• Secure pipe to structures with clamps, brackets, or hangers.
• Use, interpret and care for tools and equipment commonly employed on industrial projects.
• Fabricate, install, position, or connect components for testing including hydrotesting.
• Routinely operate Worley/client light/medium duty vehicles.
• Safely climb ladders of various heights.
