Job summary

Worley is seeking a Project Pipefitter Helper/Roustabout for a temporary 4-month rotational assignment in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The role supports journeymen in setup and execution of welding-related tasks on a remote Arctic project. The position includes meals, lodging, and transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay.

Responsibilities include layout, surface preparation, equipment setup for cutting/welding, and maintaining safety and housekeeping standards on site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license preferred, including ability to be insured.
• North Slope Training Cooperative (NSTC) certification training available via Worley.

Responsibilities

• Lay out, position, align, and secure parts and assemblies.
• Prepare surfaces for welding, ensuring cleanliness and absence of defects.
• Set up and adjust cutting equipment for various cutting procedures.
• Assist with welding, grinding, and finishing operations per blueprints and work orders.
• Tag material with job numbers and marks; maintain records and cleanliness.
• Operate hand and power tools used in welding and related tasks.
• Perform fire watch or heater attendant duties as required.
