Job summary

Worley is seeking a Pipe Welder for a remote/rotational position based in Prudhoe Bay, AK. The role focuses on welding pipe, flanges and fittings to blueprints and codes, supporting petrochemical and related facilities in a challenging Arctic environment.

The job requires 3–5 years of pipe welding experience, pass FCAW/GTAW/SMAW tests, and a valid driver's license. The rotation includes long weeks with meals and lodging provided, plus 401k matching and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Three to five (3-5) years’ experience pipe welding in an industrial environment.
• Required to pass FCAW, GTAW and SMAW pipe weld tests upon offer.
• Valid driver’s license including ability to be insured by Worley's auto insurer.
• High School diploma or equivalent GED.
• NSTC certification training available through Worley if needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs welding of pipe, flanges and fittings for fabrication or repair per blueprints or work orders.
• Constructs, maintains and modifies piping systems and process equipment by welding.
• Measures pipe routing and drafts pipe configuration.
• Repair, prep, grinding and re-weld procedures to meet welding codes.
• Completes records, maintains tools and equipment, and performs cleanup duties.
• Safely climb ladders and operate Worley vehicles as required.
