Job summary

Worley Group, Inc. seeks an experienced pipefitter for a remote Arctic project. The role involves laying out, fabricating, assembling, installing and maintaining piping systems on a temporary site with challenging conditions.

Expected duration is one year with extended weeks and travel between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay. Qualifications include 3–5 years of pipefitting, a High School Diploma or GED, NSTC certification, and the ability to read isometrics and drawings.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of pipefitting experience in an industrial environment.
• High school diploma or GED.
• NSTC certification training available through Worley or on-site.

Responsibilities

• Select type and size of pipe and related materials per drawings and job specs.
• Inspect worksites to identify obstructions and plan installation sequence.
• Cut and bevel pipe using torches, saws, threading machines, or pipe cutting machines.
• Assemble and install valves and fittings as required.
• Prepare pipe for welding by a certified pipe welder or join pipe and fittings by threading.
