Job summary

Worley is seeking a Project Pipefitter for a remote Arctic construction project in Alaska, starting Oct/Nov 2026. The role is a long-duration assignment with a typical 84-hour work week (40 hours straight time and at least 44 hours OT). Meals and lodging are provided on location, and transportation between Anchorage and Prudhoe Bay is supplied.

Responsibilities include pipe fitting, assembling and installing piping systems, reading drawings, and coordinating with welders and other crew on site.

Qualifications

• Three to five (3-5) years’ pipefitting experience in an industrial setting is required.
• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license and NSTC certification training provided by Worley are desirable.
• Knowledge of ANSI/ASME/PFI codes and standards is required.

Responsibilities

• Select pipe type and size according to drawings and specifications.
• Inspect worksites to plan installation and avoid interferences.
• Cut and bevel pipe using torches and machines.
• Assemble and install valves and fittings.
• Prepare pipe for welding by a certified welder or joining fittings by threading.
• Secure pipe to structures with clamps, brackets or hangers.
