Job summary

Worley is seeking a skilled Pipe Welder for a remote/rotational assignment in Prudhoe Bay, AK. You will weld pipe, flanges and fittings for fabrication and repair, using various welding processes in a rugged Arctic environment.

The schedule is intense: 84 hours per week with overtime; meals and lodging are provided on site, and Worley arranges transportation from Anchorage to Prudhoe Bay. Required are 3–5 years pipe welding experience, ability to pass FCAW, GTAW, SMAW tests, a valid driver's

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of pipe welding experience in an industrial setting.
• Must pass FCAW, GTAW and SMAW pipe weld tests when offered.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to be insured.
• High School diploma or GED.
• NSTC certification training available.

Responsibilities

• Welds piping, flanges and fittings to codes and client requirements.
• Measures pipe routing and drafts configurations.
• Performs repair, prep, grinding and re-weld procedures to meet codes.
• Maintains records, tools, and conducts cleanup tasks.
• Climbs ladders and operates Worley vehicles.
