Job summary

dormakaba is actively seeking an Architectural Sales Representative to work remotely from Virginia areas including Chesapeake, Virginia Beach, Newport News, Norfolk or Suffolk. The role promotes dormakaba’s North American portfolio to architectural firms, design-build firms, and government architects, driving sales and long-term relationships.

The position offers a base salary range of $85,000–$100,000 with bonus potential and a total comp package in the $127,500–$150,000+ range, plus

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in construction management, architectural design, engineering, business, or related field with 3+ years of experience or High School Diploma/GED with 6+ years relevant experience.
• Current CDT and DHC certifications or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to travel up to 50%+ within territory.
• Excellent communication skills with ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at varying levels.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term architectural customers by creating relationships reflecting architects' clients' best interests.
• Develop short- and long-term project pipelines with architectural firms.
• Network with architects and industry leaders at CSI, AIA, DHI events and other opportunities.
• Collaborate with local territory team to ensure coverage for completed specifications.
