Job summary

dormakaba is seeking an Architectural Sales Representative based in the Washington, DC area to promote the North American portfolio to architectural firms, design-build firms, and government architects. This is a sales position with base salary $85,000 - $100,000 and bonus; total compensation $127,500–$150,000+ annually, plus a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in construction management, architectural design, engineering, business, or a related field with 3+ years of relevant experience or HS diploma with 6+ years of experience.
• CDT and DHC certifications or ability to obtain within 12 months of hire.
• Ability to travel up to 50% within the territory.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop long-term architectural customers by building relationships with architects and specification managers.
• Develop short- and long-term project pipelines and pursue opportunities with architectural firms.
• Network within architectural firms via CSI, DHI, and other industry networks.
• Collaborate with local territory team to ensure coverage for completed specifications.
