Vaco by Highspring is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist for a fully remote, long-term temporary role. The ideal candidate will manage day-to-day AR tasks including invoicing, cash applications, and collections, while maintaining accurate records and customer relationships.

Experience in transportation/logistics is preferred, with strong Excel and ERP proficiency. The position offers flexible remote work and the opportunity to contribute to a fast-paced finance team, handling month-end

Formación

• 2+ years of hands-on accounts receivable experience.
• Strong experience with customer invoicing, cash applications, collections, and account reconciliations.
• Previous experience within transportation, logistics, or final-mile delivery industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.

Responsabilidades

• Manage daily accounts receivable activities, including customer billing, invoicing, and payment processing.
• Generate, review, and distribute customer invoices accurately and within established deadlines.
• Monitor outstanding receivables and proactively follow up with customers regarding past-due balances to ensure timely collections.
• Perform cash applications and accurately post incoming customer payments to the appropriate accounts.
• Reconcile customer accounts, research discrepancies, and ensure balances are accurate.
• Investigate and resolve invoice disputes, billing discrepancies, and payment-related issues in a timely manner.
• Communicate professionally with customers regarding outstanding balances, payment commitments, invoice questions, and account status.
• Maintain accurate AR aging reports, collection notes, and supporting documentation.
• Assist with month-end close activities, including AR reconciliations and reporting.
• Collaborate with internal operations and finance teams to research and resolve billing issues.
• Maintain organized customer account records and support efficient accounts receivable processes.
