Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an **Entry Level Accounts Receivable Associate Specialist** for a remote role focused on resolving claim payment issues across commercial, governmental, and other payers. The position supports denial management, appeals, and audit activities while documenting all actions in the client system.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year of medical collections experience, familiarity with payer websites, and solid Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of relevant experience in medical collections, AR follow-up, denials and appeals preferred.
• Knowledge of claims review and analysis.
• Experience with payer websites to investigate claim statuses.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology or insurance claim terminology.

Responsibilities

• Follow up with commercial, governmental, and other payers to resolve claim payment issues and ensure timely reimbursement.
• Identify denials and payment variances and draft technical and clinical appeals.
• Provide support for denial, no response, and audit activities.
• Communicate with payers to follow up on outstanding claims and file appeals when needed.
• Document all activity in the client’s host system or tracking system with accurate contact details.
• Meet quality and productivity standards within established policies and attendance requirements.
• Flexibility to travel to onsite client, temporary, or corporate locations as business needs require.
