Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to follow up with commercial, governmental, and other payers to resolve claim payment issues and secure timely reimbursement. You will analyze denials, payment variances, and no-response claims and draft technical and clinical appeals.

The role requires basic computer skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, strong verbal communication, and solid problem-solving abilities. Some travel to client sites may be required.

Responsibilities

• Examines denied or unpaid claims to determine reasons for discrepancies.
• Follows up with payers on outstanding claims and files appeals.
• Identifies reasons for underpayments and delays in payment.
• Works with management to identify and address root causes in AR.
• Maintains understanding of regulations and payer requirements.
• Documents all activity in client host system or tracking system.
• Communicates trends and issues to management.
