Job summary

Ensemble Health Partners is seeking an entry-level Accounts Receivable Associate Specialist to support healthcare providers across the United States in a remote capacity. You will follow up with payers to secure timely reimbursement, analyze denials, and draft appeals while maintaining high accuracy and communication with clients.

Ideal candidates have a 2- to 4-year degree, 1+ year in medical collections or AR follow-up, and proficiency with Excel.

Qualifications

• Requires a 2-4 year degree; 1+ year medical AR experience preferred.
• Proficient with Excel and basic computer skills.
• Experience with payer websites and claims review is a plus.
• Knowledge of revenue cycle processes and DDE Medicare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Examines denied and non-paid claims to determine reason for discrepancies.
• Communicates with payers to follow up on outstanding claims and submits technical/clinical appeals.
• Identifies causes of underpayments and works with management on root causes.
• Keeps accurate documentation in the client host system and related tracking tools.
• Demonstrates initiative by communicating trends and issues to management.
• Resolves accounts using problem-solving skills and critical thinking.
