New Charter Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to manage invoicing, collections, and AR workflows across our finance team.

This remote role with occasional office visits supports cash flow and accurate financial records, collaborating with accounting and operations to resolve discrepancies and ensure timely processing. The ideal candidate has 3+ years in AR, experience with NetSuite or QuickBooks, GAAP knowledge, and strong Excel skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounts receivable, billing, collections, or general accounting.
• Experience with NetSuite, QuickBooks, or comparable financial systems.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and internal controls.
• Proficient in Excel with data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Generate and distribute accurate customer invoices and follow up on outstanding accounts receivable balances.
• Monitor customer accounts, track payments, and support timely collections activities.
• Maintain accurate, complete, and organized records of accounts receivable transactions.
• Prepare and analyze accounts receivable reports, including aging schedules and outstanding balance summaries.
• Research and resolve billing discrepancies, payment issues, and account reconciliation differences.
• Ensure compliance with established accounting policies, internal controls, and financial procedures.
• Respond to customer billing and payment inquiries in a timely and professional manner.
• Collaborate with internal accounting, finance, and operational teams to resolve account-related issues.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and financial reporting.
• Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests.
• Identify opportunities to improve accounts receivable processes, accuracy, and collection efficiency.
