Job summary

MedCerts is a national online career training school; the Accounts Receivable Specialist will manage daily revenue tasks for student accounts in a remote role. Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounts receivable experience.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong research, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficient in Excel and Microsoft Office.
• Understanding of GAAP.
• Experience with NetSuite and Salesforce a plus.
• Able to work independently in a team-based environment.
• Attention to detail and follow-through.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily A/R functions and ensure accuracy of student revenue.
• Submit invoices on external partner portals.
• Resolve billing discrepancies and research unidentified payments.
• Monitor and process incoming payments daily.
• Reconcile revenue for assigned channels weekly and month-end close.
• Lead collections on delinquent accounts.
• Document processes and assist AR Manager.
• Collaborate with AR team and cross-train.
• Provide outstanding customer service on internal and external requests.
