Job summary

STG Logistics is seeking a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to support billing, reconciliation, customer account maintenance, and payment resolution activities. This remote role is ideal for a candidate with strong analytical skills, a collaborative mindset, and experience working with accounting systems and financial reporting tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or minimum of 3 years' experience.
• Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with GAAP.
• Experience with online banking applications, reporting tools, and standard business systems.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems (Oracle Fusion) and BlackLine preferred.

Responsibilities

• Review, analyze, and process memo requests with accuracy and efficiency.
• Reconcile and validate billing invoices across ERP platforms and related systems.
• Maintain customer database to support accurate, consistent, and timely account information.
• Evaluate and reconcile customer rebate programs and related account activities.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve billing, payment, and accounts receivable issues.
• Analyze and reconcile accounts receivable payment discrepancies to support timely resolution.
• Monitor accounts receivable bank activity, including debits, exceptions, and irregular transactions.
