Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Accounts Resolution Specialist for a fully remote role across multiple states including CT. You will ensure proper billing and reimbursement by following up with insurers, handling denials, and submitting appeals with WaySTAR.

The role requires remote work experience and adherence to vaccination policies. Ideal candidates bring 5 years in physician/facility billing, 2 years in denial management, and 1 year remote work.

Qualifikationen

• HS diploma or GED required.
• 2 years of insurance claims follow-up.
• 2 years of claim denial management.
• 5 years of experience in a physician and/or facility business office.
• 1 year of experience working in a remote environment.
• Vaccination policy compliance required (fully vaccinated or exempt).
• Flu shot or exemption requiring masking during flu season.

Aufgaben

• Follow up on daily accounts to reduce the AR.
• Validate denied claims and determine denial resolution (auth/retro auth/precert).
• Submit appeal letters and payer docs using WaySTAR.
• Prioritize work to increase collections efficiency.
• Document actions in Avatar and WaySTAR with standard notes.
• Meet department productivity requirements.
• Communicate opportunities with leadership using SBAR.
• Follow CHS leadership chain and participate in AR reduction initiatives.
• Troubleshoot tech issues and assist billing with replies to mail and correspondence.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
