Qualifications

• Requires ~2 years of insurance claims follow-up.
• Requires ~2 years of denial management experience.
• ~5 years of experience in a physician/facility business office.
• Bachelor’s degree in health care or related field; remote work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on daily accounts to reduce A/R.
• Validate denied claims and determine resolution; submit appeals in WAYSTAR.
• Prepare payer documentation and letters for unpaid/underpaid claims.
• Prioritize work to improve collections efficiency and accuracy.
• Document actions in Avatar and WAYSTAR with standardized notes.
• Assist billing with disposition of incoming mail and replies.
