Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Accounts Resolution Specialist to ensure accurate billing and timely reimbursements. You will follow up on denied claims, prepare appeal documentation, and collaborate with patients, insurers, and providers to resolve accounts.

This remote role requires strong insurance billing knowledge and proactive problem-solving. Responsibilities include prioritizing AR tasks, documenting actions, and communicating opportunities to leadership.

Qualifications

• 2 years of insurance claims follow-up.
• 2 years of claim denial management.
• 5 years of experience within a physician and/or facility business office.
• 1 year of experience working in a remote environment.
• The Company has a mandatory vaccination policy and flu shot requirement may apply.

Responsibilities

• Follows up on required daily accounts to reduce the A/R.
• Validates denied claims and determines appropriate denial resolution including authorization/retro authorization/precertification.
• Uses WAYSTAR to submit appeal letters and payer documentation on unpaid/underpaid claims.
• Prioritizes work to increase collections efficiency.
• Documents actions in Avatar and WAYSTAR using standard notes.
• Meets department productivity requirements and communicates opportunities to leadership.
