Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Accounts Resolution Specialist to support financial operations by ensuring proper billing and reimbursement. The role involves extensive insurance follow-up, denial management, and appeal activities in a fully remote capacity.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in claims follow-up and denial management, plus 5+ years in a physician/facility business office, with remote-work experience and a health-care related degree.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; remote-capable.
• 2+ years insurance claims follow-up experience.
• 2 years claim denial management experience.
• 5+ years in a physician and/or facility business office.
• 1+ year of experience working in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in health care or related field.
• 5 years of experience with physician/facility billing/auditing in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on daily accounts to reduce A/R.
• Validate denied claims and determine denial resolutions.
• Submit appeal letters using Waystar and required payer documentation.
• Prioritize work to increase efficiency in the collections process.
• Document actions in Avatar and Waystar using standard notes.
• Assist billing with replies to incoming mail and correspondence.
