Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Accounts Resolution Specialist to support our behavioral health billing operations. This remote role requires strong insurance follow-up, denial management, and experience in a physician/facility billing environment.

You will follow up daily accounts, submit appeals using WAYSTAR, and document actions in our systems. We value accuracy, customer service, and the ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of insurance claims follow-up.
• 2 years of claim denial management.
• 5 years in physician/facility business office.
• 1 year of remote-work experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in health care or related field; vaccination policy applies.
• 5 years of physician/facility billing/auditing in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accounts are billed and reimbursed to support financial viability.
• Follow up on daily accounts to reduce accounts receivable.
• Validate denied claims and determine denial resolution; submit appeals.
• Document actions in Avatar and WAYSTAR with standard notes.
• Assist billing with correspondence disposition and replies.
