Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is seeking an Accounts Resolution Specialist to manage billing and reimbursement for behavioral health services. You will handle insurance follow-up, denials, and appeals using WAYSTAR and Avatar, contributing to accurate A/R management.

This remote position requires several years in physician/facility billing, strong customer service, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced healthcare environment while supporting crisis-care initiatives.

Qualifications

• Experience in insurance claims follow-up and denial management.
• Strong customer service skills and communication.
• Ability to work remotely with minimal supervision.
• Background in physician/facility billing preferred.
• Familiarity with payer appeal processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on daily accounts to reduce A/R.
• Validate denied claims and determine resolution path.
• Use WAYSTAR to submit appeal letters and payer documentation.
• Document actions in Avatar and WAYSTAR with standardized notes.
• Assist billing with replies to incoming mail and correspondence.
