Job summary

Connections Health Solutions is a leading provider of immediate-access behavioral health crisis care, now seeking an Accounts Resolution Specialist to optimize insurance billing, follow-up, and appeal workflows.

In this fully remote role, you will validate denied claims, file timely appeals using WAYSTAR, and document outcomes in Avatar and WAYSTAR. The position demands strong customer service and extensive billing knowledge in a behavioral health setting.

Qualifications

• 2 years of insurance claims follow-up
• 2 years of claim denial management
• 5 years of experience in physician/facility business office
• 1 year of experience in a remote environment
• Bachelor’s degree in health care or related field
• 5 years of experience with physician/facility billing/auditing in behavioral health

Responsibilities

• Follow up on daily accounts to reduce A/R.
• Validate denied claims and determine denial resolution.
• Submit appeal letters and payer documentation using WAYSTAR.
• Prioritize work to increase efficiency in the collections process.
• Document actions in Avatar and WAYSTAR with standardized notes.
• Assist billing with dispositions of incoming mail and responses.
