The Accounts Resolution Specialist role focuses on accurate billing, timely follow-up, and effective denial resolution using WAYSTAR within a remote environment. This position supports financial viability while maintaining high-quality customer service.

Qualifications

• 2 years of insurance claims follow-up experience.
• 2 years of claim denial management experience.
• 5 years of experience in a physician and/or facility business office.
• 1 year of experience working in a remote environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in health care or related field preferred.
• 5 years of physician/facility billing and auditing in behavioral health.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on required daily accounts based on leadership assignments to reduce AR.
• Validate denied claims and determine denial resolution; submit appeals with WAYSTAR.
• Prioritize work to increase efficiency in the collections process.
• Document actions in Avatar and WAYSTAR using standardized notes.
• Assist billing with disposition of or replies to incoming mail and correspondence.
