Connections Health Solutions is seeking a remote Accounts Resolution Specialist to ensure accurate billing and timely reimbursement. The role covers extensive insurance follow‑up, denial management, and documentation in Avatar and Waystar, with a focus on behavioral health billing in a fully remote environment.

The position requires experience in physician/facility billing and a track record of remote-work adaptability, alongside a healthcare-related bachelor's degree.

Qualifications

• 2 years of insurance claims follow-up experience required.
• 2 years of claim denial management experience required.
• 5 years of experience in a physician and/or facility business office.
• 1 year of experience working in a remote environment preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in health care or related field is required.
• 5 years of experience with physician and/or facility billing/auditing within a behavioral health environment.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the financial viability by ensuring accurate billing and reimbursements.
• Follow up daily accounts to reduce accounts receivable.
• Validate denied claims and determine denial resolutions; submit appeals and required payer documentation using Waystar.
• Prioritize work to increase efficiency in the collections process.
• Document actions in Avatar and Waystar using standardized notes.
• Assist billing with dispositions of or replies to incoming mail and other correspondence.
