WorkHero is hiring a Junior Office Manager to own the phone work that keeps clients' cash flowing. The role focuses on accounts receivable collections calls across multiple HVAC client accounts, with some scheduling and outbound campaigns in a fully remote setup.

You will log notes, follow up balances, and escalate when needed, while maintaining a calm, professional tone with homeowners and commercial customers.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in outbound or high-volume call centre role for an HVAC shop.
• Familiarity with HVAC terminology and maintenance agreements.
• Comfort with collections conversations and staying professional when a customer is frustrated.
• Strong people skills with rapport-building and clear written notes.
• Reliability and self-management in a remote setting with a quiet workspace.

Responsibilities

• A/R collections calls (primary): contact past-due balances, negotiate payments, and document outcomes.
• Follow-up on open balances; flag disputes or accounts needing escalation.
• Light scheduling calls to confirm appointments and renew maintenance agreements.
• Ad hoc outbound campaigns such as renewals or follow-ups.
• Log call notes and payment commitments in tracking sheets or FSMS for team visibility.
